ABOUT ROBIN SLOAN
PHOTOGRAPHER & OWNER OF RIVERBEND STUDIO
I grew up hearing the name Riverbend Studio all my life. My mother was an artist and brought Riverbend to life 25 years ago. When she passed away in 2000, I gave Riverbend a new life as a photography business. As one of my favorite brides said, “That’s some good mojo”. I agree. Thanks Mom.
Old black and white wedding photographs of our familes decorate the dining room walls in our home. When I see the history captured in those old photos, and how they have been cherished and carefully handed down through the generations, I fall in love with photography all over again. Photography allows me to stop time, capture a moment, and hang it on the wall. For all to see and experience. How cool.

Tara and Robin have been friends for 17 years. Tara is a not an assistant or second photographer, she is an Associate Photographer for Riverbend Studio in Chicago. Tara travels around the world photographing weddings, people and experiences. When she is in Chicago, I feel fortunate to have her shoot for my studio.
