#6 is photographing the reason we are all there, the wedding ceremony.
The wedding ceremony is often thought to be the most formal part of the day. For this reason, I like to take care in using my wedding-ninja skills and stay out of the spotlight.
Have no fear, I’ll be in the background capturing all of the emotions and reactions using a long lens — but, you’ll never know I was there!
This is an opportunity for us photographers to be real photojournalists, never intruding with the event, just documenting what we see.
After the ceremony, we move on to everyone’s favorite part of the day — family photos (haha)!
I know many couples dread these 30+ minutes of the wedding day and want to rush through them as quickly as possible.
Remember those parents of yours we were talking about earlier?
These formal family photos are often the most important to them, and I want to make sure that everyone leaves with timeless heirlooms that will live on family room walls for generations to come.
