#5 is the fun filled photo tour with your favorite people.
This moment takes the number five spot, because I think it’s a downright good time and often creates the best candid photographs from the day.
From beautiful portraits of the bride and groom, to all of the different combinations of people on your photography wish list, this is when we take 90% of the wedding party photos.
There are a lot of moving pieces to coordinate while creating the photos you see below. Even thought these photos look like they are spontaneous and “just happened”, trust me, we had it all planned out ahead of time (and a rain plan, late plan, etc.).
Having a plan in place allowed for these fun, real moments to happen. Take some time to think about locations, logistics and communication to make this one of the best parts of the wedding day.
All formalities aside, I also leave time for a bit of fun and spontaneity with the bride and groom’s closest friends.
Having your wedding party along for the photo tour results in more candid photos of the group celebrating the couple!
