#9 The first dances often include a newlywed dance along special songs for the father of the bride and mother of the groom.
Even though this is also a wedding tradition, I love photographing it so much it was awarded its own category!
You may have known that this moment would make it into my top ten.
What you probably don’t know, is that this can be one of the most challenging moments to capture as a wedding photographer.
After years of photographing weddings, I’m happy to report that I have it down to a science.

No doubt, there is pure magic to photograph everywhere you turn in the room during the first dances.
As you look through this photo gallery you will see everything from sexy, regal wedding dream shots to the funny moments when the groom steps on his new wives toes… and don’t even get me started on the emotional Father/Daughter dances!
